Job bookings are taken via a call centre or electronically via an API gateway. Consignments are priced and tracked from Pickup to Delivery offering full visibility to customers with online lookup plus email and SMS notifications of every step in the delivery lifecycle.
Performance of the courier fleet is optimised through a sophisticated algorithm that monitors every courier and Job in real time to determine the best courier to perform each Job awaiting despatch.
Using the mobile phone app couriers receive Jobs and update the status of each Job during the delivery lifecycle. In addition to scanning of consignments couriers are also tracked via GPS thereby enabling visibility of exactly where every Job consignment is at any time.
At a nominated date the sub-contractor payment module electronically pays couriers for each job performed. Each job has the courier payment amount automatically calculated based on the rate schedules setup in the system.
At a nominated date account customers can be invoiced by transferring completed Jobs to a preferred 3rd party invoicing system for processing. Casual customers can make payment via credit card at booking time. The amount charged is automatically calculated based on the rate schedules setup in the system.
